Hardwood floor part 2 - Parquet 2ème partie

Even better with the stain! they will put a last varnish coat right before we move in for a perfect finishing! who would cover those wonderful floor with carpet?!

Encore mieux avec la teinture! ils metteront le vernis vitrificateur juste avant l'emménagement pour un fini parfait! Qui recouvrirait ces magnifiques sols avec de la moquette?!

Refinishing Harwood floors - Refaire les parquets

Moving day is scheduled for April 30th so we are coming to an end! One of the last step is the hardwood floor! After the carpet removal we had a mosaic more that a floor so pro are working on refinishing the floor! sanding, repairing, sanding and varnishing!

Déménagement le 30 Avril donc ca sent la fin! une de dernières étapes est la rénovation des parquets! Après avoir enlevé la moquette nous avions un belle mosaïque dans la maison donc place aux pros qui travaillent à rétrouver des parqiets homogènes! ponçage, réparations, reponçage et finalement vernissage!

I couldn't leave you without those pic right?! Floor tiles are on in both bathrooms.... and cabinet too!

Je ne pouvais pas vous laissez comme ca n'est ce pas!?! Les carrelages des sols sont posés dans les 2 salle de bains ... et les meubles aussi!

Finally got time to take pictures!!!! a lot of work has be done over the past days as we have been using the extra help we have (and who leaves tomorrow :( )!!! 1 week on the windows and the big built-in book shelving in the sunroom then 2 days on the walls and the kid closets!!! and our part is coming to an end or almost!!!

The result is just so good! we were able to have some clean windows; even if white paint on stained wood is not the easiest thing to do despite the time we spent sanding last month. But the color on the wall is bringing this house to the new millennium!!!

I still can't believe how great the floor looks after the wonderful job of the expert!!! so impressed that I am started the before and after pictures!!!

Impressionnant le boulot réalisé par l'expert sur le sol!!! J'ai tellement de mal à m'en remettre que je vous poste la premiere photo avant/après!!
